Tooling Engineer I

📋 Description

• Own design, activation, and support of fixtures and tooling for Haven-1.
• Define vehicle integration flow, manufacturing process, and tooling interfaces.
• Specify fixture/tooling specs, qualification plans, and production transfer.
• Perform mechanical analysis for spacecraft fixtures.
• Develop maintenance plans for test fixtures and tooling; assist facilities.
• Manage project schedules, deadlines, and vendor coordination.

🎯 Requirements

• BS in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• 1+ years aerospace/mechanical tooling or design.
• 1+ years NX or other 3D CAD packages.
• GD&T experience; FEA on structural components.
• Willing to work evenings/weekends; lift up to 25 lbs.
• Strong communication and cross-functional collaboration.
