Trade Surveillance Analyst

📋 Description

• Investigate and resolve trade surveillance alerts (spoofing, wash trading)
• Monitor alerts and electronic communications to identify market abuse risks
• Manage alert queues; escalate to Compliance Officer and close alerts
• Calibrate surveillance parameters as new markets/products come online
• Record keeping and reporting for internal approvals and regulatory submissions
• Collaborate with Compliance, Trading and Tech Teams

🎯 Requirements

• 2-4 years of experience in financial markets surveillance in India.
• Degree qualified in Finance, Business, Law, or related discipline.
• Experience in trade surveillance and market abuse detection (spoofing, wash trading).
• Familiarity with surveillance systems (OneTick, SMARTS, NICE Actimize, Trading Technologies or First Derivatives).
• Understanding of proprietary trading and market making models.
• Strong verbal/written communication and keen attention to detail.
