  • Build and maintain relationships with bankers, brokers, CPAs, and attorneys who refer opportunities.
  • Own the CRM; maintain contact data, relationships, and follow-up status.
  • Track BD activity with dashboards and key metrics.
  • Evaluate inbound opportunities against investment criteria using financial/operational screening.
  • Prepare deal summaries, screening memos, and financial workbooks for reviews and LOIs.
  • Communicate findings and flag risks and opportunities to the transaction team and C-Suite.

🎯 Requirements

  • 2–4 years in finance or accounting (IB/transaction advisory/PE/VC) with buy-side exposure.
  • Experience evaluating SMBs; calls with sellers and brokers.
  • Experience in fast-paced/high-growth environments; owning projects.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple deals; work independently.
  • Preferred: CRM usage (Affinity), scalable processes, and marketing writing skills.
