Turbine Diaphragm Welder

📋 Description

• Perform TIG (GTAW) welding on steam turbine diaphragms and related components.
• Fabricate/repair diaphragm components using stainless steel, Inconel, carbon steel.
• Read and interpret engineering drawings, WPS, and work instructions to OEM tolerances.
• Set up, operate, and maintain TIG/MIG equipment and plasma cutting torches.
• Conduct pre- and post-weld heat treatment as required per engineering specifications.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area.

🎯 Requirements

• Minimum 5 years of precision/industrial welding.
• TIG (GTAW) welding on stainless steel, Inconel, and alloys.
• Experience reading engineering drawings, blueprints, and Weld Procedure Specifications.
• Knowledge of turbine diaphragm construction styles (spacer-band, fillet).
• Familiarity with weld inspection methods (visual, liquid penetrant testing).
• Ability to use precision measurement tools (calipers, micrometers, dial indicators).
