📋 Description

• Review and evaluate mortgage loan documentation for accuracy, completeness, and compliance with
• Underwrite conventional, FHA, VA, USDA, new construction, condominium project, and other assigned
• Analyze loan-to-value ratios, debt-to-income ratios, credit reports, applications, income, assets
• Review property appraisals to ensure loans meet applicable secondary market, investor, and internal
• Identify missing or insufficient documentation and work with Loan Processors and Loan Officers to
• Determine when additional documentation or information is necessary to support sound loan decisions

🎯 Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent required; college coursework or technical training in Business
• At least 5 years of recent experience in the mortgage industry, including substantial experience
• Current Direct Endorsement (DE) certification is required.
• Current certifications required for assigned regions with applicable state-specific requirements to
• Expert-level knowledge of mortgage lending processes, including underwriting, funding, and loan
• Expert-level knowledge of documentation used in consumer mortgage applications, including tax
