Unified Communications Integration Engineer, Public Safety

📋 Description

• Join a real-time UC platform for public safety, building and deploying a cloud-based emergency
• Work on interoperable, highly available RTC and VoIP signaling services with strong security and
• Collaborate with Operations, R&D, Sales, CTO Office, and Product managers across Carbyne/Axon
• Assist in onboarding new customers and delivering customized UC solutions per requirements.
• Engage in ongoing support and training for Operations on 911 emergency communications systems.

🎯 Requirements

• VoIP architecture experience; hands-on with open-source UC (Kamailio, FreeSWITCH, Asterisk).
• Strong knowledge of SIP, SDP, RTP, WebRTC; codecs, encryption, transport troubleshooting.
• 3+ years deploying open-source VoIP solutions; 3+ years networking; OSI model mastery.
• Proficiency with Linux, bash scripting; experience deploying on AWS private/public clouds.
