Unified Communications Integration Engineer, Public Safety

📋 Description

• Join Axon and help build the world\'s first Cloud-Based Emergency Real-Time Communication Platform.
• Interoperate highly available RTC and VoIP signaling services with multi-tenant, self-healing
• Collaborate with Operations, R&D, Sales, CTO Office, and Product for UC activities.
• Onboard new customers aligned with requirements and solution specs.
• Provide technical support and training on 911 emergency comms systems.
• Develop and maintain technical specs and solution documents.

🎯 Requirements

• VoIP architecture experience; hands-on open-source UC deployment (Kamailio, FreeSWITCH, Asterisk).
• Strong knowledge of VoIP protocols (SIP, SDP, RTP), WebRTC, codecs, encryption, transport.
• 3+ years deploying open-source VoIP solutions.
• 3+ years networking; OSI model, networking concepts.
• Linux experience with bash scripting.
• Experience deploying on private/public clouds (AWS).
