University Applications Engineer

📋 Description

• Own and manage university partnerships as MISUMI’s primary contact
• Develop partnerships with professors, lab staff, and student groups
• Create and execute engagement plans including workshops
• Drive ongoing engagement and expand MISUMI’s university presence
• Advise on component selection, design, and MISUMI tools
• Track engagement outcomes and report progress

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field
• 2-5 years of experience in application engineering, technical sales, or design engineering
• Proficiency with CAD tools (SolidWorks, Inventor, or similar)
• Strong interpersonal and presentation skills; clear communication
• Experience with student teams, academic programs, or training environments is a plus
