Upstream Production Chemist II

📋 Description

• Prepare stock and custom bulks per Quality System Procedures
• Use ERP system to maintain lab stock and an accurate warehouse inventory
• Follow standard operating procedures
• Set-up, operate, and maintain laboratory equipment (reactors, high shear mixers, balances, etc.)
• Verify calibration of balances, volumetrics, and other laboratory equipment
• Keep workspace clean to minimize hazards and contamination

🎯 Requirements

• 6 years experience in a production laboratory
• High School Diploma, GED, Related experience/training or equivalent
• Proficient in Microsoft Windows and Office products
• Proficient in internet-based application programs
• Two-year degree in science or other technical field (desired: BS in Chemistry with 2 years
• Experience working in a laboratory setting, including ability to create and follow standard
