Valve Technician

📋 Description

• Inspect, maintain, overhaul, and certify valves, actuators, and associated equipment.
• Carry out repairs, fault-finding, testing, and calibration activities to ensure equipment meets
• Work on a variety of equipment including pressure relief valves, safety valves, control valves
• Deliver high-quality work both in the workshop and on customer sites.
• Liaise professionally with customers, suppliers, and colleagues to ensure projects are completed
• Maintain accurate inspection, testing, and certification records in line with company procedures.

🎯 Requirements

• Experience in valve overhaul, repair, testing, certification, or mechanical maintenance.
• Knowledge of pressure systems, pipework, pumps, actuators, or associated mechanical equipment.
• A recognised engineering apprenticeship or relevant practical engineering experience.
• Strong mechanical fault-finding and problem-solving skills.
• A flexible approach to working both in a workshop and field-based environment (80% site based)
• A valid UK driving licence.
