📋 Description

• Establish and lead Apex's data center development business and strategy.
• Originate large-scale data center opportunities via site ID and feasibility.
• Lead site selection: power, transmission, fiber, water, zoning, and community.
• Coordinate with internal teams to advance projects efficiently.
• Oversee permitting and entitlement strategies with authorities.
• Build and mentor a high-performing data center development team.

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, real estate, business, planning, or related field; MBA preferred.
• 10+ years in large-scale data center, infrastructure development.
• Demonstrated success leading data center projects through site control, entitlements, utility coordination.
• Strong understanding of power infrastructure, interconnection processes, transmission constraints.
• Experience with local governments, utilities, and regulatory bodies across multiple U.S. jurisdictions.
• Willingness to travel 15-35% and work from Charlottesville, VA or another Apex office.
