Vice President, Laboratory Operations

📋 Description

• Develop and execute strategic initiatives to optimize lab operations.
• Lead and coach teams; improve quality, capacity, TAT, and COGS.
• Oversee budgeting, revenue, expenses, test volume, and FTE utilization.
• Provide succinct updates to executive leadership and build partnerships.
• Ensure ISO 13485, FDA (CLIA/QSR), GDP, and GCP/cGMP compliance.
• Drive continuous improvement using Lean Six Sigma.

🎯 Requirements

• BS/BA in STEM; Biological Sciences preferred.
• 12+ yrs with BS, 10+ with MS, or 7+ with PhD.
• 5+ years overseeing manufacturing at Director/Senior Manager level.
• Travel up to 25%.
• California CLS or CGMBS license preferred.
