Vice President Legal Recovery

📋 Description

• Lead the end-to-end legal recovery function for secured loan portfolios (Home Loans, MBL, LAP)
• Develop and implement legal recovery strategies for delinquent, stressed, and NPA accounts
• Drive recovery through legal and enforcement mechanisms for secured assets
• Manage the complete legal recovery lifecycle including pre-litigation notices, litigation
• Drive timely NPA resolution and collaborate with Collections and Credit teams
• Handle legal proceedings under SARFAESI Act, DRT/DRAT, civil proceedings, arbitration, Section 138

🎯 Requirements

• 15+ years of experience in Legal Recovery, Collections Legal, or Litigation
• Prior experience with a Bank, NBFC, or Housing Finance Company preferred
• Strong experience in secured lending (Home Loans, MBL, LAP)
• Hands-on experience in NPA resolution, recovery litigation, and enforcement
• Strong understanding of SARFAESI Act, DRT/DRAT, Section 138 NI Act, Civil/Criminal/Consumer Laws
• Experience handling possession, auction, and enforcement matters
