Vice President of Accounting

📋 Description

• Lead accounting strategy and governance with CAO and exec team
• Oversee SEC reporting; ensure US GAAP, SOX compliance
• Manage real estate accounting, capex, debt, cash, payables, close processes
• Drive transformation: automation and data quality improvements
• Partner with internal/external auditors and Blackstone on complex matters
• Develop and mentor accounting leaders to build a high-performing team

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's in Accounting; Master's preferred
• CPA required
• 15+ years of progressive accounting leadership; public company and SEC reporting
• Deep knowledge of US GAAP, SEC, SOX, internal controls
• Experience leading large accounting orgs and developing leaders
• Strong executive presence and communication; strategic and hands-on
