Vice President of Operations

📋 Description

• Provide strategic and operational leadership for a nonprofit's distribution network, warehouse
• Develop and execute multi-year operational strategies and ensure safe, efficient, and compliant
• Lead, coach, and develop operational directors, managers, and teams across warehouse, inventory
• Oversee inventory management, order fulfillment, transportation routing, fleet utilization, and
• Ensure compliance with OSHA, DOT, USDA, and food safety regulations and lead continuous improvement
• Develop and manage budgets, conduct financial analysis, and evaluate capital investments

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Operations Management, Business
• Minimum of 10-15 years of progressive leadership experience in operations, logistics, warehousing
• Minimum of 5 years leading managers, directors, or multiple operational functions in a multi-site
• Strong knowledge of inventory controls, food safety, workplace safety, DOT requirements, OSHA
• Demonstrated ability to analyze operational data, manage budgets, and drive continuous improvement
• Knowledge of Lean, Six Sigma, process optimization, warehouse automation, ERP, WMS, or related

🎁 Benefits

• Starting salary range to be determined based on skills and experience
• Full-time position (40 hours/week), generally Monday-Friday 8:00am-5:00pm with some nights/weekends
• Base at regional center with regular travel to organizational locations and partner sites
• Local travel required within 13-county service area
