Vice President - Security Operations Center and Cyber Defense

📋 Description

• Lead a 24/7 global SOC to detect, analyze, and respond to threats.
• Refine SOC operating model, coverage, escalation, and incident command.
• Serve as Incident Commander for incidents with global coverage and direct IR.
• Ensure high-fidelity alerting, fewer false positives, and MTTD/MTTR improvements.
• Develop Threat Hunting to proactively identify advanced threats before escalation.
• Own SOC tech stack: SIEM, SOAR, EDR/XDR, CNAPP, cloud tooling.

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's or master's in CS/InfoSec or related field, or equivalent experience.
• 15+ years leading cybersecurity teams across SOC, Threat Hunting, IR, ASM, DWM, TI.
• Executive leadership and crisis management for major incidents and board comms.
• Deep expertise in MITRE ATT&CK, threat intel, and forensics.
• Hands-on and architectural knowledge of SIEM, SOAR, EDR/XDR, and cloud security (AWS/Azure/GCP).
• Experience designing cyber defense strategies in large-scale enterprises.
