Vice President- Underwriter, Servicing

📋 Description

• Perform or oversee contractors' underwriting of transactions and consents.
• Ensure that Lenders' and Investors' credit standards are maintained and risks mitigated.
• Communicate with Berkadia Mortgage Bankers regarding underwriting progress.
• Maintain a pipeline of 25–35 transactions per Servicing Agreement requirements.
• Assist in the development of team members in our India offices.
• Manage escalated and complex issues, elevating to Senior Management when appropriate.

🎯 Requirements

• Expertise in commercial real estate finance, servicing operations, and mortgage documentation.
• Strong written, oral, and negotiation skills.
• Excellent research, analytical, and organizational skills with time management focus.
• Proficient in Fannie Mae, Freddie Mac, Ginnie Mae, HUD, and CMBS guidelines.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent.
• 5+ years of experience in a similar position.
