VMware Infrastructure Engineer

📋 Description

• Engineer, administer, maintain, and support enterprise VMware virtualization infrastructure
• Manage VMware vSphere, ESXi hosts, vCenter clusters, networking, storage connectivity, and
• Monitor platform health, capacity, performance, availability, and utilization and proactively
• Troubleshoot complex virtualization, server, storage, networking, and application infrastructure
• Plan and execute VMware upgrades, patching, hardware refreshes, migrations, and
• Support the transition and modernization of the VMware environment, including changes associated

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or equivalent work experience
• 5+ years technical infrastructure experience
• Significant hands-on experience supporting VMware vSphere environments in a production enterprise
• Strong experience with VMware ESXi and vCenter Server
• Experience managing VMware Clusters, High Availability (HA), Distributed Resource Schedule (DRS)
• Experience with enterprise server hardware and lifecycle management
