VoIP Engineer - Remote

📋 Description

• Understand Telephony services and how they integrate with the platform.
• Operate and maintain SIP proxies based on Kamailio or OpenSIPS.
• Handle level 3 escalations and triage issues to resolution.
• Analyze telephony traffic to identify issues and anomalies.
• React to critical alerts to restore full service quickly.
• Coordinate with partner networks for interconnections.

🎯 Requirements

• Degree in CS, IT, Telecom or similar.
• Strong understanding of IP telephony (SIP, RTP, RTCP, TLS, WebRTC) and TCP/IP.
• Experience with Kamailio, OpenSIPS, FreeSWITCH, RTPEngine, Asterisk.
• Experience with Linux, open source tools, and shell scripting.
• Experience with containers/automation: Docker, Ansible, Jenkins, Kubernetes.
• Familiarity with Python, Elixir or Go is a +.
