• Lead and support volunteers on the warehouse floor.
• Coordinate the Volunteer Programme and recruitment efforts.
• Guide volunteers, answer questions and offer encouragement.
• Plan group activities and shift coverage with staff.
• Ensure health, safety and food safety standards are met.
• Represent FareShare professionally in person and by phone.

• Experience leading teams of people
• Good IT skills and ability to learn systems
• Strong numeracy and literacy; identify foods
• Eligibility to work in UK
• Desirable: experience with volunteers and training needs
• Desirable: health and safety experience with risk assessments
