Voyage Analyst

📋 Description

• Own final quality checks for customer-facing time charter and voyage performance reports
• Investigate discrepancies and work with customers and internal teams to resolve them before reports
• Translate customer-provided charter party terms and good-weather definitions into reporting
• Partner with technical teams to develop tailored performance analyses using Sofar's digital twin
• Prepare clear, evidence-based claim summaries, incorporating voyage performance analysis, weather
• Work directly with customers to collect supporting evidence and explain findings, assumptions, and

🎯 Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in maritime shipping analysis, voyage performance reporting, or a closely
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to data quality, assumptions, and
• Expertise in charter party performance clauses, speed and consumption analysis and good weather
• Interest in learning and using tools such as LLMs, Retool, Snowflake, and Notion to investigate
• A proactive, solutions-oriented approach: you take ownership, ask thoughtful questions, and adapt
• Ability to collaborate across cultures and time zones, with teammates in the US, Denmark
