VP, Finance and Accounting

📋 Description

• Lead enterprise-wide financial strategy across multiple organizational entities
• Advise executive leadership with scenario analysis, financial forecasts, and investment
• Support board-level decision-making with financial reports and recommendations
• Own accounting operations and reporting including month-end and year-end close processes
• Strengthen financial controls and compliance and maintain culture of financial accountability
• Manage nonprofit and political entity accounting for 501(c)(3), 501(c)(4), and PAC entities

🎯 Requirements

• At least 10 years of progressive finance and accounting experience including senior-level leadership
• Experience leading finance and accounting within an organization with annual budget of at least $15
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent qualifying work experience
• Extensive hands-on accounting expertise including financial close, reporting, audits, and nonprofit
• Experience managing accounting across at least two legal entities
• Proven track record of strengthening internal controls and addressing audit findings
