VP, First Line Risk and Compliance

📋 Description

• Lead first line controls for Commercial Lending; ensure policy/regulatory alignment.
• Oversee controls across lending to reduce losses; ensure underwriting accuracy.
• Design/implement first line controls, indicators, and monitoring for credit quality.
• Partner with second line and audit to support testing and remediation tracking.
• Execute risk management duties per RMF; risk assessments and third-party reviews.
• Lead root cause analysis and remediation for policy gaps and defects.

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree required; MBA preferred.
• 8+ years in commercial lending, banking ops, risk or compliance.
• Knowledge of middle-market lending products and regulations.
• Experience designing and implementing first line risk controls.
• Ability to partner with leaders while maintaining independent risk judgment.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel).
