VP, Portfolio Economics

📋 Description

• Own portfolio profitability framework: margins, returns, concentrations by merchant/vertical
• Build recurring reporting for portfolio economics: yield, cash-on-cash, vintages
• Drive pricing levers (pricing, EPO discounts, approvals, take rates); cross-functional
• Identify improvements: segments/merchants under target; reprice, restructure, exit
• Design bespoke programs for high-value merchants to maximize EV
• Build evaluation framework for bespoke requests across the portfolio

🎯 Requirements

• SQL (or equivalent) data analysis; comfortable daily work and live exercise
• Consumer credit and lending unit economics: pricing, yield, vintages, cohorts
• Analytical rigor with commercial judgement and game theory mindset
• Independent owner of hard problems; not seeking to manage a team
• Backgrounds: quant trading, pricing/portfolio strategy in lender/fintech
