Weekend Shift Manufacturing Lead

📋 Description

• Lead and work alongside production employees in the fabrication and welding of burners, flares
• Serve as the primary on-floor lead, providing direction, job assignments, and real-time problem
• Ensure work is performed in compliance with quality standards, drawings, and welding procedures.
• Promote and maintain HSE compliance, including proper use of PPE and adherence to safety policies.
• Monitor workflow, identify bottlenecks, and communicate issues or needs to supervision.
• Support training and onboarding of new employees; mentor less experienced team members.

🎯 Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 3+ years of manufacturing experience required; welding experience strongly preferred.
• Prior experience in a lead, acting lead, or informal supervisory role preferred.
• Experience in welding, fabrication, machine shop operations, or first-entry manufacturing.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, work instructions, and welding symbols.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills with the ability to lead by example.
