Welder / Fabrication Technician

📋 Description

• TIG weld aluminum (0.062\"+) and stainless (0.030\"+)
• MIG weld mild and stainless steel
• Fabricate components in stainless, aluminum, carbon steel
• Build sampling apparatus from drawings or concepts
• Layout, fit, bend, install stainless tubing/pipe (1/8\"–10\")
• Operate shop equipment (brakes, grinders, sanders, welders, drills, saws)

🎯 Requirements

• High school diploma; trade school training preferred
• 5+ years welding experience
• Weld stainless, aluminum, carbon steel (TIG/MIG)
• Fabricate from drawings or conceptual ideas
• Knowledge of electrical, machining, pipefitting in industrial settings
• Ability to operate or learn wide range of shop equipment
• Strong commitment to safety and shop cleanliness
• Pass a government background check
