Welder, Starship Launch Pad

📋 Description

• Weld using FCAW, GMAW, SMAW, GTAW on carbon, stainless and aluminum structures
• Cut, trim, fit, and fabricate weldments to required dimensions
• Collaborate with lead welder to confirm weld procedure, material and rod size
• Review engineering drawings to plan welding when procedures are unavailable
• Improve operations, reduce turnaround times, and streamline work processes
• Perform other related duties to maintain an efficient work environment

🎯 Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalency
• 1+ years of welding in a fabrication environment with FCAW or GTAW on SCH 10 pipe
• 5+ years GTAW on SCH 10 stainless or carbon steel pipe
• 5+ years FCAW welding with stainless or carbon steel pipe
• Welding qualifications per AWS D1.1, D1.2, D1.6, D17.1 or ASME Section IX
• Proficient in tube/pipe cutting, grinding and fabrication
• Experience in overhead cranes and forklifts
