Welding Trainee (Starship) – Temporary

📋 Description

• GTAW class A welds; cut, trim, fit and fabricate metal components.
• Collaborate with lead welder to determine weld procedure, material and rod size.
• Analyze drawings and specs to plan welding when procedures are unavailable.
• Improve operations; reduce turnaround times; streamline processes.
• Perform related duties to ensure safe and efficient work environment.
• Weld and fabricate small to large structures and assemblies.

🎯 Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalency.
• 1+ month welding experience or certificate within last 2 years.
• 3+ years TIG welding with stainless steel, carbon steel, Inconel, aluminum and titanium.
• AWS D17.1 and D1.2 certifications.
• Knowledge of DC welding techniques.
• Safety-conscious; able to work at elevations and in hazardous environments.
