Wire Harness Technician

📋 Description

• Cut, strip, crimp, solder, and terminate wire and cable per engineering drawings, wiring diagrams
• Build wire harness and electro-mechanical assemblies to IPC/WHMA-A-620 workmanship standards.
• Read and interpret cable harness drawings, layout drawings, mechanical drawings, schematics, and
• Install connectors, terminals, heat-shrink tubing, cable ties, labels, and protective sleeves.
• Perform continuity, insulation resistance, and functional electrical checkouts using digital

🎯 Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1-5 years of experience using mechanical and/or electronic hand tools.
• Ability to read and follow wiring diagrams, schematics, and assembly drawings.
• Experience fabricating or inspecting wire harness and cable assemblies.
• Familiarity with IPC/WHMA-A-620 standards (certification a plus).
• Experience in aerospace, defense, heavy equipment, automotive or another high-reliability
