Wireless Firmware Validation Engineer

📋 Description

• Own performance validation, optimization, and debugging of the Telematics Control Unit (TCU).
• Analyze diagnostics and logs across cellular networks, 4G/5G modems, Wi-Fi, and Bluetooth.
• Design and execute advanced testing campaigns with network emulation tools to identify edge cases.

🎯 Requirements

• B.S. or M.S. in Electrical Eng, Telecommunications, CS, or related field; 10+ years of wireless
• Deep expertise in 3GPP cellular (4G-LTE, 5G-NR), Wi-Fi, and satellite feature test plans; debugging
• Knowledge of LTE/5G Protocol Stacks (NAS, PDCP, RRC, RLC, MAC, PHY) and 3GPP specs.
• Experience with cellular network analysis tools (QXDM, Shannon Tools, Wireshark).
• Hands-on with network emulators and lab tools (Keysight UXM, Rohde & Schwarz CMW500/CMX500).
• Programming/Scripting: Python and Shell scripting for automated test frameworks.
