Worker’s Compensation Associate Attorney Review – Compromise & Release

📋 Description

• Review and edit C&R agreements and related addendums prepared by the settlement team
• Verify settlement terms against the case file, including ADJ numbers, dates of injury, body parts
• Review addendums and attachments, such as Employment Separation Agreements, Medicare-related
• Identify and correct errors, omissions, and problematic language that could result in an Order
• Communicate clearly with Settlement Admins and other internal teams about required corrections so
• Manage a steady daily caseload, prioritize files by urgency and deadline, and keep reviews moving

🎯 Requirements

• Comfortable with fast-paced work environments
• Excellent writing and verbal communication skills
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
• Candidates must be in good standing with the California State Bar
• Experience with California workers' compensation, particularly on the applicant side (preferred)
• Familiarity with C&R drafting, WCAB approval requirements, and common OSA issues (preferred)
