Workshop Manager

📋 Description

• Manage the day-to-day operation of the Consett workshop, ensuring work is completed safely
• Lead, mentor and support workshop personnel, ensuring effective utilisation of resources and
• Take responsibility for health and safety compliance across the Consett site, working in line with
• Carry out hands-on workshop activities including machining, milling, turning, grinding, linishing
• Coordinate workshop activities including booking work into the MRF system, housekeeping

🎯 Requirements

• Experience in a workshop supervisory, team leader or foreman role.
• Hands-on machining and engineering knowledge, with experience in workshop equipment and processes.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to read technical drawings and specifications.
• Excellent communication and mentoring skills.
• UK driving licence.
