Youth Services Specialist

📋 Description

• Conduct intake and needs assessments with youth participants (18 - 24 year olds) to determine
• Develop action plans that reflect client goals related to employment, education, and skill
• Refer clients to employment/training opportunities and to internal and external recruiting events
• Work closely with colleagues to match employer needs/job orders with the skills and qualifications
• Manage a schedule for training, client assessment and individual career advisement with placement
• Maintain a large caseload and manage timely case notes for each client

🎯 Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED required; college coursework or degree in a related field preferred, or
• Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in workforce development, social services, case management
• Experience working with diverse populations, including individuals facing employment or
• Experience working with disconnected or vulnerable youth populations
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, Outlook, and Teams) and ability to
• Bilingual in Spanish, Kreyol, Russian or Mandarin preferred
