About you:
Logixboard is looking for a Solutions Engineer to join our sales organization and support the technical aspects of our sale. This role will work with our sales team members to present the value of our freight forwarding visibility tools to prospective customers. You will touch a huge part of our business and be an instrumental part of our sales process. This role is ideally suited to someone who enjoys speaking to potential new clients regarding the technical aspects of software and how it can help solve problems and bring value.
You will:
Assist sales reps in their technical presentations of our product - with an expectation of participating in multiple phases of the sales process from discovery to rollout/implementation discussion
Participate in weekly sales training to sharpen our discovery, demonstration and presentation skills
Participate in prep calls with account executives to ensure alignment and effective call execution
Provide expert knowledge regarding the technical aspects of the Logixboard product and communicate with product managers to get prospects’ questions answered
Work with our product development team to give feedback from prospective customers on product development and direction
Be someone who likes to move fast and is excited about the unknown aspects of what each day might bring due to the nature of a hyper growth, early stage startup environment
Give feedback on how to improve our processes to continuously improve our sales motions as we grow and scale our organization
Support our sales training program by giving industry specific feedback and training support from the perspective of our customers/buyers
Be part of a very fast moving organization where you have a voice in decisions that ultimately impact our team members, customers and investors
Maintain in-depth knowledge of both the Freight Forwarding and SaaS industry We're looking for:
2+ years of SaaS selling experience or 1+ year of solutions engineer experience
Having worked in a freight forwarding business or a consulting role that services this industry is a requirement of the role - we are looking for someone with first hand experience in this industry
Highly autonomous - must be able to take initiative and execute with minimal supervision
Excellent organization skills, attention to detail, values-driven, strong customer focus, and high-level of curiosity
Results-oriented - competitive interest in setting and blowing out team goals
Must enjoy collaboration with the team. Our sales organization is ‘competitive AND collaborative’
High on coachability - the ability to listen to and give constructive feedback. We work as a team to invest in our development with weekly coaching, performance coaching from industry thought leaders and we practice our skills as a team
Startup experience is a plus - we are growing very fast so flexibility as we iterate and change is very important. With that experience you can also be part of the build and design of our go to market planning
The Solutions Engineer base salary is $130,000 and a variable of $20,000 for an OTE (On-Target Earnings) of $150,000, plus equity.
Where your pay would fall within that range will be based on 1) relevant experience, knowledge, and skills, as demonstrated through the interview process, 2) by considering parity with current LXB team members, and 3) current market data.
