Account Coordinator, Arts & Culture

📋 Description

• Support the implementation of communications strategies, creative brainstorming and campaign
• Monitor the media landscape and relevant news, trends and conversations across the arts and culture
• Pitch and place stories across local, regional, national and relevant arts and culture media
• Write and edit external and internal messaging and media materials, including client emails, press
• Support day-to-day client communications, including staffing weekly calls, developing meeting
• Support teams at press events, openings and other client events

🎯 Requirements

• Internship or other relevant experience in strategic communications, public relations, journalism
• Strong writing skills and an interest in media relations and the news landscape
• Demonstrated knowledge of and interest in the arts and culture sector, with an understanding of the
• A strong interest in building a career in public relations and strategic communications within the
• Ability to communicate clearly and effectively, both verbally and in writing
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
