Account Operations Specialist

📋 Description

• Develops account management skills by assisting Account Manager in managing his/her business
• Assisting Account Manager in servicing his/her business, including but not limited to development
• Develops and maintains excellent relationships with primary and secondary carriers for contracted
• Analyze past carrier performance, schedules, cost and availability of appropriate equipment in
• Act as a liaison between clients, carriers, shippers and receivers
• Negotiates constantly changing carrier rates for the spot market and to evaluate potential

🎯 Requirements

• High school diploma or GED required; Bachelor's degree preferred
• 1+ years Freight brokerage or logistics experience preferred
• Excellent customer service skills
• Strong written/verbal communication skills and attention to detail
• Able to multi-task and enjoys a fast-paced environment
• Entrepreneurial, self-motivated, self-starter
