Accountant II

📋 Description

• Own key areas of the monthly close, including journal entries, reconciliations, supporting
• Manage bank, cash, and other balance sheet reconciliations and resolve discrepancies quickly.
• Reconcile financial activity across consumer financing, merchant payments, fees, refunds, and
• Review vendor invoices, employee expenses, and credit card activity for accuracy, policy
• Prepare recurring financial and operational reporting for internal stakeholders and external
• Support annual audits, tax requests, and related documentation.

🎯 Requirements

• 2+ years of experience in accounting, audit, or a similar finance role.
• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, business administration, or a related field.
• Strong understanding of how transactions flow through the income statement, balance sheet, and cash
• Experience owning reconciliations and supporting or managing portions of the monthly close.
• Strong Excel or spreadsheet skills and comfort working with detailed data sets.
• Ability to investigate discrepancies, connect information across systems, and drive issues to
