Accounting Clerk, Flowerbuyer Temporary Position

📋 Description

• Process high-volume vendor invoices including downloading, coding, and entering into accounting
• Maintain electronic accounting records and retain invoices and documentation
• Perform large-scale invoice reconciliation and forward to managers for approval
• Analyze vendor statements to ensure expenses are captured in general ledger
• Investigate and resolve invoice discrepancies with vendors and departments
• Manage weekly vendor payment cycles via wire transfers, ACH, EFT using USD and CAD accounts

🎯 Requirements

• Diploma or bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• 1-3 years of accounting-related professional experience, with previous Accounts Payable experience
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel
• Experience with ERP or accounting systems; familiarity with Microsoft Dynamics is an asset
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines

🎁 Benefits

• Salary range of CAD $55,000–$60,000
• Fully remote work-from-home position
• Standard working hours 9:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.
• Temporary assignment from September 2026 to October 2027
