Accounting Manager

📋 Description

• Own the monthly, quarterly, and annual close, including consolidation and financial statement
• Manage all non-revenue accounting areas: operating expenses, accruals, prepaid expenses, fixed
• Oversee the accounts payable function, and provide lighter-touch oversight of accounts receivable
• Perform and review detailed flux and variance analysis, proactively investigating unexpected trends
• Partner cross-functionally to gather and validate financial data, and to make sure the numbers are
• Identify and drive improvements to accounting processes, systems, and controls to support scale

🎯 Requirements

• 6+ years of accounting experience.
• Use AI tools as a real part of how you work - to move faster on preparation, reconciliations
• Owned the close and the general ledger in a multi-entity environment, without a controller
• Set a close calendar and held FP&A, Tax, and cross-functional partners to it.
• Knowledge of US GAAP sufficient to make accrual, cutoff, and capitalization calls, and explain
• Found a broken accounting process midstream and rebuilt it before it slowed down the close.
