Accounting Manager

📋 Description

• Own the monthly, quarterly, and year-end close and US GAAP consolidation across six entities
• Own balance sheet integrity, ensuring material accounts are properly reconciled, supported, and
• Lead technical accounting analysis across revenue recognition, principal versus agent, customer
• Lead the group and UK statutory audits from planning through fieldwork and sign-off.
• Own and improve internal controls, including controls over prepaid customer wallet funds and
• Manage statutory accounts and tax compliance with external advisers, including corporate tax, US

🎯 Requirements

• Strong hands-on accounting background, typically 5+ years, ideally including public accounting or
• Strong US GAAP knowledge, including ASC 606 and principal versus agent judgements.
• Experience running a multi-entity, multi-currency close and preparing consolidation, including
• Strong technical and business judgement, with the ability to research accounting positions
• Cross-functional partner who builds credibility across the business, works independently and
• People leader who sets clear expectations, develops the team, and builds capability across it.
