Accounting Manager

📋 Description

• Own AP & Procurement: Manage and oversee the full cycle of accounts payable and procurement
• Payroll & Benefits: Own payroll and benefits accounting, including related journal entries and
• Journal Entries & Account Reconciliations: Prepare and review journal entries. Reconcile 100%
• Month-end close: Support the monthly close process, ensuring deadlines are met and results are
• Reporting: Produce recurring cash reporting (monthly at minimum, ideally weekly) and the monthly
• Team management: Manage a team of two initially (may increase next year), including day-to-day

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required
• 4+ years of progressive accounting experience
• 1-2 years in a supervisory or team-lead role
• Experience managing month-end and year-end close in a fast-paced environment
• Hands-on experience with accounts payable and procurement operations
• Solid working knowledge of US GAAP
