Accounts Payable Accountant

📋 Description

• Perform the day-to-day accounts payable function including processing of complex accounts payable
• Perform vendor setup, maintenance, and account reconciliation.
• Reconcile vendor accounts and the accounts payable subledger, researching and resolving
• Perform and oversee monthly AP reconciliations and ensure accurate period-end close.
• Partner with Accounting and Finance teams to support accruals, expense reporting, and month-end
• Maintain strong internal controls around vendor management, invoice approvals, and payments.

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field; or
• 7+ years of progressive experience in accounts payable, preferably in a high-volume environment.
• Demonstrated knowledge of end-to-end accounts payable processes, including three-way match, vendor
• Experience using enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems, preferably Netsuite, and accounts
• Advanced Microsoft Excel experience, including PivotTables, lookup functions, and analysis of large
• Experience analyzing complex accounts payable issues, identifying root causes, and implementing
