Actuarial Analyst, Pet

📋 Description

• Own pet insurance rating plans and rate indications
• Craft rate filing support for ML models and pricing tools
• Identify pricing/underwriting actions from ongoing results
• Build dashboards to automate pricing analyses
• Develop knowledge base on competitor rating strategies
• Advance actuarial education via SOA/CAS exams and research

🎯 Requirements

• 2+ SOA or CAS actuarial exams
• Bachelor’s degree in Actuarial Science, Math, Stats, or related field
• Knowledge of data science languages (R or Python) and SQL
• Prior pricing experience is a plus
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
• Office environment 3 days per week in Soho, NYC
