Additive Manufacturing Engineer II, PBF

📋 Description

• Own build prep, print programming strategy, and manufacturing planning for PBF hardware
• Provide feedback to design team on printability, DfAM, and part consolidation
• Develop and maintain PBF process docs, build standards, work instructions, verification plans
• Lead nonconformance investigations, data review, and root-cause analysis
• Coordinate with PBF process engineering and teams to remove blockers
• Evaluate process changes: parameters, scan strategy, build layout, and inspection criteria

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Materials, Manufacturing, or Aerospace Engineering
• 2+ years in metal additive manufacturing or aerospace hardware
• Working knowledge of LPBF process variables, build prep, and inspection
• Proficiency in LPBF of metallic materials and DfAM fundamentals
• Hands-on with work orders, work instruction creation, and non-conformance resolution
• Experience with AM tools: EOSprint, Magics, 3dxpert, Flow; CAD: NX or SolidWorks
