After School Activity Specialist + Group Leader - Part-Time

📋 Description

• Lead enrichment activities in a designated content area for elementary/middle school students.
• Develop lesson plans to promote creativity, collaboration, leadership.
• Create inclusive learning environments where students participate.
• Differentiate activities to meet diverse interests and needs.
• Foster positive relationships and mentor students.
• Serve as Group Leader for approximately 15 students and supervise activities.

🎯 Requirements

• High school diploma or HSE; Associate's degree preferred.
• Minimum of two years' experience with elementary/middle school children in educational settings.
• Expertise in enrichment areas: dance, visual arts, music, sports, chess, STEM.
• Experience planning and facilitating engaging activities for groups of children.
• Strong classroom/group management; able to create a positive, inclusive environment.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; build relationships with students, families, and colleagues.
• Ability to work collaboratively with a team; show initiative and professionalism.
