After School Caregiver (DSP)

📋 Description

• Build meaningful, lasting relationships through one-on-one support for a few hours each week.
• Engage in the client's favorite hobbies and community activities, such as Special Olympics events.
• Support individuals in developing independence and achieving personal goals, including budgeting
• Provide attentive, person-centered support that promotes dignity, respect, and choice.
• Help ensure the client's safety, well-being, and success at home and in the community.
• Make a meaningful difference while creating enjoyable and rewarding experiences throughout Maui.

🎯 Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• At least 18 years of age
• A passion for supporting individuals with intellectual and/or developmental disabilities
• Ability to transport clients in your personal vehicle
• Patience, empathy and dedication
