📋 Description

• Provide end-to-end counsel on retail crypto products and services with cross-functional teams.
• Respond promptly to legal requests and coordinate with stakeholders and outside counsel for timely advice.
• Identify regulatory risks and mitigate them while supporting product goals.
• Ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
• Advise on crypto regulatory developments in Canada.
• Engage with Canadian regulators and self-regulatory bodies on compliance and innovation.

🎯 Requirements

• JD from a Canadian-accredited law school; bar in a province/territory.
• 7+ years of experience in law firm, government, fintech, or tech.
• Experience with crypto, securities, derivatives, money transmission, sanctions.
• Strong interpersonal/communication skills; explain legal concepts clearly.
• Motivated, practical, innovative with a collaborative, can-do approach.
