Assistant General Counsel, M&A

📋 Description

• Location: Boston or NYC hybrid; onsite Tue-Fri, remote Mon.
• Support Chief Legal Officer in managing outside counsel and key corporate initiatives.
• Advise Board of Directors, C‑Suite, Corporate Development, and SEC/Financial Reporting teams on
• Lead or coordinate due diligence for potential M&A and capital markets transactions.
• Draft, review, and negotiate transaction documents ensuring compliance and protection of Axon’s
• Provide post‑merger integration legal support for contracts and regulatory filings.

🎯 Requirements

• J.D. from accredited school; admission to a US State Bar.
• Minimum 5–7 years’ experience at a top-tier law firm; in-house a plus.
• Proven expertise in M&A, securities law, and corporate governance.
• Extensive experience handling complex M&A in tech or financial services; strong writing
• Strong understanding of corporate & securities laws and regulatory standards; leadership and
