Associate Chemist - Organic Extraction - 2nd Shift, M-F

📋 Description

• Prepares and analyzes environmental samples using standard analytical techniques
• Performs routine lab tasks including sample preparation and chemical analysis
• Evaluates and quantifies data
• Records and reports data and any unusual test occurrences to the supervisor
• Performs routine instrument maintenance
• Maintains training documentation (training records, IDOC/DOC) current and accurate

🎯 Requirements

• BS or BA in Chemistry or related field, Associate Degree, or 2 years of related laboratory
• Professional working proficiency in English, including ability to read, write and speak in English
• Authorization to work in the United States without restriction or sponsorship
• Previous experience with PFAS and/or LC/MS and/or sample preparation (ideal)
• Previous experience in a lab or production setting (ideal)
• Strong verbal and written communication skills (ideal)
