Associate Formulations Scientist

📋 Description

• Prepare prototype formulations (solutions, suspensions, etc.) for exploratory in-vitro and in-vivo
• Measure key properties of active compounds and formulations, such as solubility, pH, isotonicity
• Assess the chemical and physical stability of prototype formulations
• Evaluate how prototype formulations perform using in-vitro tests such as non-sink dissolution and
• Run quantitative analysis using HPLC and supporting techniques (DSC, PXRD, spectroscopy)
• Write protocols for laboratory studies

🎯 Requirements

• Experience with drug formulation and preformulation techniques, and an understanding of drug
• Experience preparing formulations and running feasibility studies, including small-scale operations
• Quantitative analytical HPLC experience
• Experience running routine lab work (HPLC, DSC, PXRD, spectroscopy, solubility determinations
• Ability to learn new techniques, handle multiple tasks at once, keep accurate records and comply
• Strong computer, scientific and organizational skills
